Our Mission
BanterBox Education was built on a simple observation: the most important texts in history, science, and civics are often the hardest for students to access. Primary source documents, landmark court decisions, foundational scientific papers, and classic literature were not written for a classroom audience. But they are essential to deep learning.
We use AI to bridge this gap. BanterBox transforms complex documents into interactive reading experiences where an AI tutor guides each student through the text at their own pace and reading level. The original source is always preserved; the scaffolding adapts to meet every learner where they are.
What We Do
BanterBox Education takes complex texts and makes them conversational. Instead of reading a document passively, students engage in a guided dialogue with an AI tutor that:
Explains difficult passages in language appropriate to their grade level. Highlights and defines key vocabulary in context. Asks Socratic comprehension questions to deepen understanding. Provides immediate, formative feedback on student responses. Supports multiple languages so every student can participate.
